How SndSign keeps every signature provable

Every completed Signing Request is sealed and recorded. Here is what that means, where SndSign is hosted, and what we never do.

Sealed when everyone has signed

When the last signer finishes, SndSign seals the PDF with its platform seal and adds a timestamp. If anyone changes the file afterwards, the seal no longer matches, and anyone can see that.

An evidence package you can keep

Every step is recorded in a tamper-evident evidence log: when the Signing Request was sent, opened, agreed to and signed. With the Certificate of Completion, it is everything needed to check a Signing Request independently, even without SndSign.

Hosting, privacy and signature level

  • Hosted in the EU

SndSign runs on Google Cloud in Frankfurt, Germany. Your documents and their evidence are stored there.

  • No tracking of signers

Signers are not tracked. Fonts are self-hosted, so signing pages make no calls to font services.

  • Signature level, plainly

Today SndSign creates simple electronic signatures, as defined in the EU eIDAS regulation. Qualified electronic signatures (QES) are coming soon.
